Weekend
Have a full weekend of football coming up and am looking forward to it. College on Saturday and pro on Sunday so it should be fun seeing who all the new players are and how the teams do.
Offices
Permit office had computer problems again this morning. I'm not sure how we got along before all of this technology but it might be a good idea for someone to make a plan for how to exist without it for at least a short time.
Utah - Zion
Photo taken this summer on the east side of Zion park in Utah. The layers of rock were amazing. I'm just learning to share some of these pictures. If this works it will be pretty great.
Homes
They are saying that fires in the last few days have burned more than 1400 homes. And that is just in addition to the homes that burned in wildfires earlier in the year. They also say that there are more floods in the north east. I am sure that they don't want our wildfires but I wish we could trade for some of their rain. Some places have had almost twenty inches. While even that might not end our drought, it would go a long way in refilling some of our stock tanks.
Fifty Degrees
We have had over a fifity point swing between temperature highs and lows in the last couple of weeks. Had a few days when the high was only in the 80's and have had several nights when the low was in the 50's. That is a big change from triple digits. And it has been welcome relief.
New Pad
Finally got the pad and foundation for the new building we have been working on finished. It was quite a challenge since we were working on the side of a hill but everything worked out fine.

Have been enjoying taking photos again. I am going to try to post some of my pictures on the web. Maybe on either Flicker or Picasa. I have lots of pictures from trips we have taken in the last several years and would like to make them available to see when I'm not at my computer so I'm going to look into posting them somewhere.
